On the other hand, at least twenty persons including women were injured when paramilitary CRPF troopers used brute force on the youth who were protesting against the custodial disappearance of a civilian in 36 Rashtriya Rifles camp at Chekpath Larkipora in Islamabad. Meanwhile, troops arrested three civilians including a lady Nuzhat Amin from Srinagar and Irshad Ahmed and his family members from Kulhand in Doda.

Indian worshippers of idols occupied army, police ruling occupied Kashmir: Malik Srinagar, July 2 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that Indian troops and policemen have been given free hand to kill and humiliate Kashmiris in the occupied territory. In a statement Malik, who is currently under house arrest, said that Kashmir had literally been transformed into police and military state where the occupation troops enjoyed unlimited powers. “They kill people, play with their honour, molest women, arrest and detain political leaders and indulge in every inhuman activity with impunity,” he said. Malik while condemning the atrocities on people in Baramulla, Srinagar, Shopian and Islamabad said, “Four youth were martyred in unjustified and indiscriminate firing and a youth was subjected to enforced disappearance in Dooru Islamabad. The Indian police resorted to teargas shelling without any provocation at several places especially at Maisuma where a youth was critically injured,” he said. Malik said that the authorities had so far failed to nab the culprits involved in rape and murder of Shopian and is snatching the right of people to protest peacefully. He also expressed sympathy with the families of the youth killed in troops firing in Baramulla.

 

Fatwa by Iraqi Ulama: Hajj & Umrah By Iraqi Citizens, Ruled As Haram The Fatwa of forbidding (haram) the Iraqi citizens to perform hajj, umrah and to laugh invited polemics amongst the Iraqi legislatives, recently. This Fatwa was described in the new book of an Iraqi thinker, Sheikh Muhammad Husein Al-Falahi entitled Muadalah Shafariyah. In this book, Sheikh Falahi said that it is haram for the Iraqi citizens to perform hajj, umrah and to laugh. "This prohibition is temporary in nature and depends on the reality the ummah is in. The Fatwa will expire with the disappearance of the reasons," he said. Sheikh Falahi said, "how’s the condition of a person who really wants to go to Masjid Nabawi, while with his departure, he is leaving a land where its owners are killed and their blood spilled? How could a person be laughing while in front of him the Muslims are killed, the Holy Al-Quran are torn apart and his honor is taken away by the invaders?" Whoever does not care about the affairs of the Muslims, he is not one of them.

This Fatwa attracted both supports and criticisms. Some Sunah ulama in Iraq supported this fatwa. One of the Sunah ulama who did not want his name mentioned said, "Hajj and umrah are stopped the moment the enemies are attacking the lands of the Muslims. To the citizens of Iraq who want to perform hajj and umrah, it’s better that the money to be used for the performance of the hajj and umrah are donated to the Mujahideen. And in fact even the construction of a masjid and marriages could be halted when there is still jihad to expel the enemies from the lands of the Muslims." "Meanwhile, with regards to laughing, when his laughter comes from the heart which is blind and does not care about the condition of the Muslims and what have happened in Iraq or Palestine today, then it is haram," he added.

 

UN: Israel does not deny running spy ring in Lebanon Israel does not deny accusations that dozens of men arrested recently in Lebanon were spying on its behalf, according to a report published by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Lebanese authorities in recent months claimed to have detained dozens of suspects in an espionage investigation, including several senior military officials. According to the UN report, the first arrest took place in June 2006 and the most recent took place in May 2009. Israel has not previously commented on the arrests.

The report said Israel's defense establishment does not deny the suspects were spying on its behalf, but evades offering a more elaborate explanation. The report, which Ban sent to the UN Security Council on Monday night, addresses the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which outlined conditions for a cease-fire between Israel and Lebanon after the Second Lebanon War in 2006. Ban's report expresses concern about Lebanon's claims regarding the suspected espionage ring. Ban said that, if the allegations are proven, it would endanger the fragile truce between Israel and Lebanon. The report also describes the chain of diplomatic correspondence between the UN, Lebanon and Israel on the subject, including a May 20 letter in which Lebanon detailed to the UN its arrest of 35 Lebanese and Palestinian nationals that were allegedly part of the espionage ring.

 

ACLU Says Government Used False Confessions The ACLU is asking a federal judge to throw out those statements and others made by Mohammed Jawad, an Afghan who may have been as young as 12 when he was captured. His attorney argued that Jawad was abused in U.S. custody, threatened and subjected to intense sleep deprivation.

"The government's continued reliance on evidence gained by torture and other abuse violates centuries of U.S. law and suggests the current administration is not really serious about breaking with the past," said ACLU lawyer Jonathan Hafetz, who is representing Jawad in a lawsuit challenging his detention.
 

U.S. again delays releasing CIA interrogation report WASHINGTON -- The U.S. government on Wednesday once again delayed the release of a full report on CIA's controversial interrogation program. The government had intended to complete its review of the 2004 report and release it two weeks ago. But continued interagency debate about how much of the secret report could be made public pushed back the deadline. Last week, the Justice Department sent a letter to the Judge overseeing the Freedom of Information Act lawsuit saying it needed until July 1 to complete the process. A Justice Department official told reporters Wednesday that government lawyers are still pouring through the material. White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs said he doubted if the review would be completed this week. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) had sued the government for the public release of all documents related to the CIA's interrogation and detention program. Last year, the CIA released the a report with most of the 109 pages either withheld or heavily blacked out. The ACLU complained to the court that the CIA was withholding information "not for legitimate security reasons." After taking office in January, the Obama administration agreed to review the report to see what more could be released. However, due to political reasons, the report's release has been delayed from time to time.

US remains silent over McKinney arrest by Israel Nearly a day after the detention of former US lawmaker Cynthia McKinney by Israeli forces, Washington has yet to make a reaction. Israeli Navy detained former US congresswoman and Nobel Prize laureate Cynthia McKinney and twenty other human rights activists on board a relief boat outside Israel's territorial waters on Tuesday as they were heading to Gaza on a humanitarian mission. Tel Aviv claims the boat was trying to break Israel's two-year siege on Gaza. Ms McKinney -- the 2008 Green Party nominee for President of the United States-- has accused Tel Aviv of violating the international law by seizing an aid vessel in international waters. "This is an outrageous violation of international law against us. Our boat was not in Israeli waters, and we were on a human rights mission to the Gaza Strip," McKinney said in a statement. Green Party leaders have called on the White House and the US State Department to intervene and demand the immediate release of all the activists. On Monday, the International Committee of the Red Cross warned of dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, saying 1.5 million Palestinians living in the coastal sliver are 'trapped in despair' because of the continuing Israeli blockade on the territory. Since June 2007, when Israel imposed a blockade on the territory, no raw material has entered Gaza, stalling any attempt to rebuild the strip. According to the humanitarian agency report, seriously ill patients were not receiving the treatment they needed and thousands of Gazans whose homes were destroyed during Israel's three-week Christmas war were still without shelter.

 

EU NGOs seek ban on Israeli products, colleges European civil society groups and trade unions have stepped up efforts to boycott economic and academic exchange with Israel. Civil rights groups across Europe are pushing for the further 'delegitimization' of Israel via campaigns targeting Israeli products and university material. The collective anti-Israeli movement known as the Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) seeks out an international front in order to shore up solidarity with Palestinians who lost lives and properties in the 2008 Israeli war on Gaza. The international campaign was initiated in 2005 in reaction to calls made by the Palestinian cause for freedom from the Israeli-imposed blockade. Over 170 organizations, including trade unions, political and social establishments, and women's and youth groups have participated in the BDS campaign in an attempt to end the Israeli occupation of Palestine. The grass-roots movement has recently increased its activities, urging Europeans to ban all Israeli products. The lobby group has also joined forces with the academia including the British University and College Union (UCU) to boycott Israeli universities.

 

Most complete Earth map published The US and Japan have published the most complete terrain map of the surface of the Earth, covering 99% of the planet's face. The ASTER Global Digital Elevation Map includes 1.3 million images taken by Japan's Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (Aster) aboard the earth-monitoring Terra satellite. Provided by the US space agency NASA and the Japanese trade ministry, the data will be free to download and use. "This is the most complete, consistent global digital elevation data yet made available to the world," said Woody Turner, NASA program scientist of the ASTER project. "This unique global set of data will serve users and researchers from a wide array of disciplines that need elevation and terrain information." According to the BBC, the local elevation was mapped with each point just 30m apart. The previous complete topographic map of the Earth was NASA's Shuttle Radar Topography Mission, which covered 80% of the planet's surface. The previous map was less accurate in steep terrain and in some desert, and NASA is working to combine this data with the newly-obtained information to further improve the global map. Terra was launched in December 1999 as part of NASA's Earth Observing System (EOS). The three EOS platforms are part of NASA's Science Mission Directorate and the Earth-Sun System that observe, understand, and model the Earth system to find out the way it is changing and thereby better predict changes.

 

Occupation authorities to deploy army in Baramulla, Indian worshippers of idols occupied army terrorists martyr 28 innocent Kashmiris in June Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have decided to call in the Army to control the Baramulla town after para-military forces failed to quell anti-India demonstrations, participated by thousands of people. In a high level official meeting in Srinagar, today, it was decided that the army personnel would be deployed alongside police forces to prevent further protests. The death toll rose to four due to the brute force used by Indian police against peaceful demonstrators during the last three days. Earlier, a large number of people marched in defiance of strict curfew restrictions in the town, today, chanting, "We want freedom". The protesters carried the body of a young boy, who succumbed to his injuries in a hospital. The troops had subjected the martyred to bullet fire. In Srinagar, the police arrested APHC leaders and activists while they were holding a silent protest march from Rajbagh to the United Nations Observers’ office. The troops resorted to heavy lathi charge and excessive teargas shelling to break up the protests in Maisuma, Kokar Bazaar, Gaokadal, Dooru and Islamabad. An army vehicle was set ablaze by an angry mob at Palhalan in Pattan. The town of Sopore continued to remain under curfew restrictions. Complete shut down was observed all across the occupied territory against the Baramulla killings. The APHC AJK Convenor, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, in a statement condemned the use of force against peaceful protestors. According to the data, released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, Indian troops, in their continued acts of state terrorism, martyred 28 innocent Kashmiris in the last month of June. 59 people were arrested, 10 women disgraced and 46 residential houses damaged during the period. 1061 people were critically injured when the troops used brute force against peaceful demonstrators.

Dead Kafir Forces Increasing In Afghanistan BAGRAM – Medical personnel's in the US hospital in Bagram, Afghanistan said that there have been a drastic increase in the number of soldiers who had become victims in the battle and it’s predicted that the number would keep on rising in the coming few days. The medical staffs of this hospital which is situated in the North of Kabul said that they were at a loss of what to do by the overflowing of the incoming killed and wounded victims from the international combat forces into the hospital. Those reports came out in conjunction with the situations which had worsened in a number of provinces in the South and East of Afghanistan during the last few months, caused by the rising resistance and attacks by the Mujahideen, which continually intensified. The kafir forces led by the US said that their sides had lost control in some districts along Afghanistan, including the districts which bordered with Pakistan. The sources stated that 2009 would become the most dreadful year for the kafir international battle forces compared to the previous years, since the US began invading Afghanistan in the year 2001. The US General, David Petraeus said that the forces which was concentrating in Afghanistan, must confront, whether they want it or not, an arena which is extremely difficult in their fight against the Taliban Mujahideen. So far, the international battle forces have to continually receive defeats as can be told by the huge number of their personnel's who have become victims.

Africa: Africom to Continue Under Obama With the Obama administration set to oversee significant increases in US security assistance programmes for African countries, Daniel Volman examines the US government's plans for its military operations on the African continent over the coming financial year. Stressing that the US president is essentially continuing the policies outlined under his predecessor George W. Bush, the author considers the proposed funding increases for initiatives like the Foreign Military Financing programme and the International Military Education and Training (IMET) programme. Pointing out that the administration is yet to offer any public explanation of its policy, Volman concludes that it would be a mistake to assume that there will be no US military action if the situation in Somalia deteriorates.

 

CIA Crucified captive in Abu Ghraib Prison The Central Intelligence Agency crucified a prisoner in Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad, according to a report published in The New Yorker magazine. “A forensic examiner found that he (the prisoner) had essentially been crucified; he died from asphyxiation after having been hung by his arms, in a hood, and suffering broken ribs,” the magazine’s Jane Mayer writes in the magazine’s June 22nd issue. “Military pathologists classified the case a homicide.” The date of the murder was not given. “No criminal charges have ever been brought against any C.I.A. officer involved in the torture program, despite the fact that at least three prisoners interrogated by agency personnel died as a result of mistreatment,” Mayer notes. Torture by the CIA has been facilitated by the Agency’s ability to hide prisoners in “black sites” kept secret from the Red Cross, to hold prisoners off the books, and to detain them for years without bringing charges or providing them with lawyers.

 

White House drafts executive order to allow indefinite detentions The Obama administration, fearing a battle with Congress that could stall plans to close Guantanamo, has drafted an executive order that would reassert presidential authority to incarcerate terrorism suspects indefinitely, according to three senior government officials with knowledge of White House deliberations. Such an order would embrace claims by former president George W. Bush that certain people can be detained without trial for long periods under the laws of war. Obama advisers are concerned that bypassing Congress could place the president on weaker footing before the courts and anger key supporters, the officials said. After months of internal debate over how to close the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, White House officials are growing increasingly worried that reaching quick agreement with Congress on a new detention system may prove impossible. Several officials said there is concern in the White House that the administration may not be able to close the facility by the president’s January deadline. White House spokesman Ben LaBolt did not directly respond to questions about an executive order but said the administration would address the cases of Guantanamo detainees in a manner “consistent with the national security interests of the United States and the interests of justice.” One administration official suggested the White House was already trying to build support for an executive order. “Civil liberties groups have encouraged the administration, that if a prolonged detention system were to be sought, to do it through executive order,” the official said. Such an order could be rescinded and would not block later efforts to write legislation, but civil liberties groups generally oppose long-term detention, arguing that detainees should either be prosecuted or released. The Justice Department has declined to comment on the prospects for a long-term detention system while internal reviews of Guantanamo detainees are underway. The reviews are expected to be completed by July 21.

 

‘If I didn’t confess to 7/7 bombings MI5 officers would rape my wife,’ claims torture victim A British man who claims the Government colluded in his arrest and torture abroad has accused MI5 officers of forcing him to confess to masterminding the July 7 bombings. Jamil Rahman claims UK security officers were behind his arrest in 2005 in Bangladesh where he says he was stripped naked and beaten repeatedly by Bangladeshi officials – who threatened to rape him and his wife if he refused to answer questions. Mr Rahman, who is now suing the Home Office in the British courts, said a pair of MI5 officers who attended his torture and interrogation in Bangladesh would leave the room while he was beaten – and then return and continue questioning him. At one point they threatened to burn his family in their home in Britain, and to make the incident look like a gas leak, he claims. Jamil Rahman, a former civil servant from south Wales, is a British citizen who moved to Bangladesh in 2005 and married a woman he met there. He returned to the UK last year.

He claims Bangladesh’s DGFI intelligence agency arrested him in December 2005, at MI5’s request. He said: ‘They stripped me naked and said that if I didn’t say what they wanted me to say, they would rape me and my wife and burn her and other family members. ‘They told me to say I was al Qaeda and the organiser of the 7/7 bombings. ‘It was all to do with the British. Even the Bengali intelligence officer told me that they didn’t know anything about me, that they were only doing this for the British.’ Mr Rahman, 31, says he was released after three weeks but re-arrested and mistreated repeatedly over the next two years.

Speaking publicly for the first time yesterday, he described how two men he believes were British agents would leave the room for ‘a break’ while he was beaten. They often asked: ‘We’re not torturing you, are we?’ and recorded his confirmations that they were not, he alleges. ‘The first time they tried to be friendly, they came in trying to show they were my friends, calm and relaxed, nothing wrong. I tried to demonstrate my innocence. BIAF – MILF, AFP clashes erupt anew in Maguindanao towns Brief fierce gun battles flared between freedom fighters of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces – Moro Islamic Liberation Front (BIAF) and troops of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) of the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) in four villages in Maguindanao towns in the past two days. Firefight erupted around 1150pm last June 16, 2009 following guerilla assault by MILF fighters to the positions being held by the troops of the 54th Infantry Battalion (IB), Philippine Army, at Barangay Nabalawag, Datu Saudi Ampatuan and Barangay Nabundas, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao. According to MILF field report, two AFP soldiers were wounded during these encounters.

At around 730pm, brief firefight between MILF and government forces took place in the areas of Barangays Nimao and Butilen, Datu Saudi Ampatuan and in Barngay Datu Gumbay, Datu Piang, Maguindanao. No casualty was reported on both sides during these clashes that took place for almost 30 minutes.
AFP spokespersons announced early this week as quoted in media report that the government armed forces, which also include armed militias and paramilitary units, are bracing up for more clashes and hostilities particularly in Maguindanao.

Thousands of internally displaced persons (IDPS) put the blames on the AFP continuing indiscriminate operations, particularly the artillery, and militarization of civilian communities in Maguindanao for their unwillingness to return to their places of origins for ten months now. The government launched indiscriminate military campaign against the MILF and Bangsamoro civilians in august last year following the government reneged on its commitment to signed the already initialed GRP – MILF Memorandum of Agreement on ancestral Domain, the third and final aspect of the GRP – MILF Agreement on Peace of 2001. Security and the Relief and Rehabilitation are the two other aspects of the 2001 GRP – MILF Agreement on Peace. Both strands are still in place. But the lack of progress on the stalled peace talks due to the debacle on the MOA-AD created by the failure of the government to deliver its commitment and lame alibi on the matter to include transferring the blame and burden to the Malaysian facilitators for the peace negotiations had rendered adverse effects to the security, relief and rehabilitation landscapes of the GRP – MILF peace process.

Behanji, five other women arrested in Srinagar Srinagar, June 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Indian police arrested six women including the Chairperson of Jammu Kashmir Mass Movement, Farida Behanji in Srinagar, today. A protest strike was held at Rainawari against the arrest of a 14-year- boy, Nayeem Ahmad Dar who was booked under draconian Public Safety Act and shifted to Kathua Jail, Jammu. On the other hand, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and the chief of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik and Yasmeen Raja continued to remain under house arrest, today. Indian police personnel raided the office of Muslim Khawateen Markaz in Srinagar.

Al-Shabab Mujahideen bring to big screen a holy war film in Baidoa The Islamists group of Al-Shabab on Sunday displayed a video cassette player chiefly based on how holy war is performed and its tactics. Hundreds of the residents of Baidoa town the headquarters Bay region in southern Somalia came on Sunday converged in the center of Baidoa town to watch the film on big screen, the films were recorded when fighting between the government troops and the Mujahideen took place in the various parts of the region.  After the showing of the film was over the officials of Al-Shabab have sermonize the people and asked them to join the holy war against the puppet Somali government. MILF rebuffs Army spokesman for distortion of facts The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has rebuffed Lt. Col. Jonathan Ponce, spokesman of the Army 6th Infantry Division, for deliberate distortion of facts when he accused the Front as responsible for the ambush of three Moros at sitio Malibacao, Romongaob, South Upi on June 15. Khaled Musa, deputy chairman of the MILF committee on information, told www.luwaran.com/net that MILF mujahideen can never undertake the ambush, saying that some if not all of the victims were related to the late Sheikh Abukhalil Yahya (true name: Abdulrahman Campong) who was a senior member of the MILF central committee. He called on Ponce not to engage in cheap propaganda gimmick that can be easily challenged and proven to be false. “Mind you,” he reminded Ponce, “the best propaganda is truth itself.” Yahya, a full blooded Tiruray but had studied Islam at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, was a highly respected ulama (learned in Islam). At one time, he was the chairman of the MILF Supreme Shariah court and had also headed several delegations abroad with other MILF central committee members. The ambush claimed the life of Ismael Atim while those wounded were South Upi Councilor Jordan Ibrahim and two others identified as Kadil Kausin and Samin Ibrahim. The ambush took place 8:20 a.m. Monday while the victims were onboard a yellow land cruiser at Sitio Malibacao, Romongaob village in South Upi. At the time, the victims were on their way to Cotabato City. "The MILF are very desperate and even civilians are now target, and a clear indication that they are going wild. The MILF hierarchy should do something to give disciplinary actions to their erring and abusing field commanders and followers," Ponce said.

Martyrdom Operation kills 11 wounded 23 puppet terrorists in Uruzgan Thursday afternoon 11-06-2009 at approximately 1.30 pm local time, a courageous Mujahid of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mulla Saudullah of the same province, carried out a martyrdom operation against the puppet police base near Tarenkot city capital of Uruzgan province, in the attack eleven puppet police terrorists were killed and twenty three were wounded. Americans invaders martyred more then 29 civilians in Ghor Wednesday midnight 10-06-2009 at approximately 2 am local time, the American invader forces carried out air attacks on the Dahani Asar village in Shahrak district of Ghor Province. As a result, 15 houses belonging to the local people were completely destroyed and more than twenty nine civilians, including women and children, were martyred and thirty two were wounded. Those martyred and detained had no connection with the Taliban and were all local people. It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that the savage Americans are repeating their crime. They martyred one hundred and fifty innocent civilians, including women, children, students and the elderly, in Ganjabad village of Farahrod district of the neighboring Farah Province, one month ago. Interview with a commander of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan about successful Operation in which more than 27 enemies killed Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan on 05-06-09 between Thursday and Friday night did many successful attacks on the bases of the enemy in different areas, in which enemy suffered a large number of casualties.

 

The commander of Mujahideens share his thoughts on these attacks. The American military base in center of district Khalabsat  of Khost province was the main target of the attacks but to engage the enemies, Mujahideens targeted four other places as well, these included Sehra Bagh campaign, district Baak’s center, the joint military base of enemy in Babrak station and the newly contrasted center of the puppet police in district Nadir Shah were attacked at the same time.

100 Mujahideens participated in the attack on Khalabsat campaign which started at 2:30 am in the night. First the Mujahideen enter into the campaign and fought for three hours, in which twenty seven invaders and their puppet terrorists were killed. Among the killed were few puppet commanders Badshah Khan, Mandozani, Alif Gul and Zahir, four tanks and two vehicles of the enemy was also destroyed, and the provisional building was almost demolished and till morning one helicopter of the enemies was also shoot down. Later the Americans bombarded that helicopter to hide their loses, and its debris are lying at the place of incident. After the attack the Americans planes started bombardment but by the Grace of Allah Mujahideens all returned safely back to their centers. In last night fighting in Khalabsat five Mujahideen were martyr and five were injured. In the same way in District Baak six puppet police terrorists were also killed in the clash. There was also a successful attacked in Babrak station on joint campaign of the enemy. After the attack the enemy’s helicopters reached to transfer the dead bodies and injured ones, but the detail were not known. In SehraBagh and Nadir Shah twenty missiles were fired on the military bases but no detail were reported. Reported by Zabihullah Mujahid

 

Invaders army Tank destroyed in Kandahar Friday morning 05-06-2009 at approximately 10 am local time, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan destroyed a tank of Invaders army in Zilkhan area of District Dand district of Kandahar province. According to information, in the remote controlled explosion the invaders tank was completely destroyed and all invader terrorists in it were killed. Reported by Qari Muhammad Yousuf

 

3 German invader army Tanks destroyed in Kandahar Thursday night 04-06-2009, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed a convoy of German invader army in Kandahar province, in the ambush fighting started which lasted for one hour during which Mujahideen destroyed three enemy tanks and all the terrorists in them were killed or wounded, two Mujahids were also wounded in this operation. puppet police car destroyed in Kandahar City Thursday night 04-06-2009 at approximately 9 pm local time, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked a vehicle of puppet police near Kandahar city at AL-Cheen bridge.  According to the report the vehicle of the enemy was targeted with heavy machine guns which destroyed the vehicle and all the terrorists in it were killed. 5 American invader army terrorists killed and 1 tank destroyed in Kapisa Thursday night 04-06-2009 at approximately 9 pm local time, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed a convoy of American invader army in Landa Khail area in Takaab district of Kapisa province.  In the ambush one enemy tank was destroyed and five invader terrorists in it where killed. 10 American and puppet terrorists killed in an martyrdom operation near Bagram airbase Tuesday morning 02-06-2009 at approximately 8 am local time, Hafiz Haron, a hero Mujahid of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, a resident of Parwan province, carried out a martyrdom operation against the American invader and their puppet terrorists in the house of puppet commander Asif Khan near Bagram airport in Parwan province. The operation which was carried out on foot killed ten American and puppet terrorists along with the puppet commander Malik khan, also a large number of enemy were wounded. 10 French and puppet terrorists killed in Kabul Tuesday afternoon 02-06-2009 at approximately 1:05 pm local time, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed a joint patrol of French and their puppet army in Wazbin area of Sarobi district of Kabul province, in the ambush six French and four puppet terrorists were killed and few were wounded. 2 Tanks of American invader army blown up and 10 terrorists killed in Wardak Monday evening 01-06-2009, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with remote controlled landmines blew up two tanks of American invader army when they were traveling in Khojabaland and Tokrak areas of Chak Narkh district of Wardak province. The Battle of Tora Bora as explained by the Sheikh Osama bin Ladin “I have mentioned this battle of Tora Bora, last year, in a previous statement. This great battle was one where the power of Imaan triumphed over the materialistic forces of the people of evil: where we adhered to our [honorable] principles, thanks to Almighty Allah. Thus, I will narrate for you part of that great battle to reveal just how cowardly our enemies are and how effective trenches are in a war of attrition.

We were about 300 Mujahideen and we dug about 100 trenches, spread over an area less than one square mile, with one trench for every three brothers, thus avoiding any great human losses that might result from bombardment.

From the very first hour of the US campaign on 20 Rajab 1422, that is 7 October 2001, our sites were subject to a concerted, massive, bombardment with this bombardment continuing until the middle of Ramadan. On the 17th of Ramadan, an intense bombardment began, since the US leadership was certain that some of Al-Qaa’idah leaders were still in Tora Bora, including this humble servant of Allah and our brother Mujahid, Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri. This bombardment was continuous with the warplanes flying over us both day and night. The US Pentagon, together with its allies, worked without a break to blow up and destroy this one small area. War-planes poured their fire down upon us, intent on accomplishing their main mission in Afghanistan.

The US forces attacked us with smart bombs, with bombs that weighed thousands of pounds, with cluster bombs, and with bunker-busting bombs. Bombers, such as the B-52, flew above us for more than two hours at a time, dropping 20 to 30 bombs each. Modified C-130 aircraft carpet-bombs had bombed us at night, using sophisticated bombs.

But the [bombs of the] US forces had not attacked our positions, despite this massive bombing and despite an ignoble unprecedented propaganda campaign directed against us, and even though we were besieged in such a small area! And this is without even mentioning the forces of hypocrites, whom they [the US] demanded must fight us continuously for 15 days. Every single time these forces attacked us, we forced them out of our area, carrying their dead and wounded.

Is there any clearer proof of their cowardice, their fear, and their lies concerning how their own power is superior?

In conclusion, that battle was a complete, total failure for the international alliance of evil, for all its forces could not overcome a small number of Mujahideen - 300 Mujahideen, secreted in trenches spread over an area of less than one square mile when the temperature was 10 degrees below zero. The battle resulted in the deaths of only about six percent of our people - may Allah accept them as martyrs - and damaged only about two percent of the trenches, All Thanks and All Praise are for Allah.

If all the international forces of evil could not achieve their goals in an area less than one square mile, against a small number of Mujahideen who possessed only limited weapons, how can these evil forces triumph over the entire Muslim world?”
